Meet Socrates, portrayed by Essa Albaba, a young man navigating life’s challenges, family pressures, education, love and the many influences that shape his journey. Through laughter, struggle and self-discovery, his story unfolds in Min Bab La Bab.

تعرّفوا إلى سقراط: شاب يخوض رحلة مليئة بتحديات الحياة، وضغوط العائلة، والتعليم، والحب، والعديد من التأثيرات التي تُسهم في تشكيل شخصيته. وبين الضحك والمعاناة واكتشاف الذات، تتكشف قصته في مسرحية “من باب لباب”.

Meet Al-Eter portrayed by Anthony Alam, a friend whose influence plays a significant role in shaping Socrates’ journey. Through his actions and choices, Al-Eter challenges Socrates’ values and decisions, pushing him to question the path he takes. His character highlights the powerful impact that friendship can have on a person’s life in Min Bab La Bab.

تعرّفوا إلى العتر: صديق يترك أثراً كبيراً في رحلة سقراط، حيث يؤثر في قراراته ويضعه أمام العديد من التحديات والخيارات المصيرية. ومن خلال أفعاله وتصرفاته، يدفع سقراط إلى إعادة التفكير في القيم والطريق الذي يسلكه. وتجسد شخصيته التأثير القوي الذي يمكن أن تتركه الصداقة في حياة الإنسان في مسرحية “من باب لباب”.

Portrayed by Najah Haidar, the Mother was a guiding and supportive presence in Socrates’ life. She closely followed his actions, offering advice and encouragement while worrying about his future and well-being. Through her care and constant support, she played an important role in shaping his character and influencing the decisions he made throughout his journey. Najah Haidar also portrayed the University Professor and Socrates’ Workplace Supervisor. As his professor, she suspended him from the semester due to his rude behaviour, while as his supervisor, she dismissed him from his job, highlighting the real consequences of his actions in both his academic and professional life.

جسّدت نجاح حيدر دور الأم، وهي شخصية داعمة ومرشدة في حياة سقراط. تابعت تصرفاته عن قرب، وحرصت على توجيهه نحو الخيارات الصحيحة، معبرةً عن مخاوفها على مستقبله وسعادته. ومن خلال اهتمامها ودعمها المستمر، لعبت دوراً مهماً في تشكيل شخصيته والتأثير في القرارات التي اتخذها خلال رحلته. كما أدّت نجاح حيدر أيضاً دور أستاذة الجامعة والمشرفة في مكان العمل. ففي دور أستاذة الجامعة، قامت بإيقافه عن الدراسة لمدة فصل دراسي بسبب سلوكه الوقح، بينما قامت في دور المشرفة بفصله من العمل، مما أبرز العواقب الحقيقية لتصرفاته في حياته الأكاديمية والمهنية.

Meet the Father (portrayed by Nidal Al Hammadi), a traditional and devoted family man who works hard to secure a better future for his son, Socrates. Through his guidance and high expectations, he becomes one of the strongest influences in Socrates’ life, encouraging him to think seriously about his future and face life’s challenges. Balancing love with discipline, the Father represents the generational tensions and the struggle between personal dreams and family responsibilities in Min Bab La Bab.

تعرّفوا إلى الأب (يجسد دوره نضال الحمادي)، رجلٌ تقليدي ومحبّ لعائلته، يسعى جاهداً لتأمين مستقبل أفضل لابنه سقراط. من خلال نصائحه وتوقعاته العالية، يشكّل الأب أحد أبرز المؤثرين في حياة سقراط، حيث يدفعه للتفكير بمستقبله ومواجهة التحديات التي تعترض طريقه. وبين الحب والصرامة، يجسد الأب صراع الأجيال والتوازن بين الأحلام والمسؤوليات في مسرحية من باب لباب

Meet  Marwa (Portrayed by Salwa Razouk), a girl Socrates meets at school. Through her actions and attitudes, she has a negative influence on him and often becomes frustrated by his lack of knowledge about certain stories and topics. She is also known for her strong attachment to her dog, which she considers a higher priority than her university studies or other aspects of her life.

مروى هي الفتاة التي يتعرف إليها سقراط في المدرسة، وتؤثر عليه بشكل سلبي من خلال بعض تصرفاتها وأفكارها، كما تنزعج من جهله ببعض القصص والأمور. وتُعرف أيضًا باهتمامها الكبير بكلبها، الذي تعتبره أولويتها، حتى على حساب دراستها الجامعية أو أي أمور أخرى في حياتها.

Nadia is one of the key characters in the play Min Bab La Bab, portrayed by Karina Martan.

As Socrates’ neighbor, Nadia plays a significant role in shaping his journey. She is one of the first people to influence him toward making poor choices and introduces him to behaviors he had never encountered before. She remains by his side throughout his school and university years, becoming an important part of the experiences that shape his growth and the course of his story.

ندى هي إحدى الشخصيات المحورية في مسرحية “من باب لباب”، وتجسدها الممثلة كارينا مارتان.

تمثل ندى ابنة جيران سقراط، وتؤدي دورًا مؤثرًا في تشكيل شخصيته، إذ تقوده في بداية رحلته إلى بعض السلوكيات الخاطئة، وتكون أول من يفتح عينيه على بعض التصرفات التي لم يكن على دراية بها. وتستمر مرافقتها له خلال مرحلتي المدرسة والجامعة، لتبقى جزءًا من الأحداث التي تسهم في تطور مسيرته.
